Open Nuclear is an innovation platform for the United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory (UKNNL). UKNNL is the UK’s national laboratory for nuclear fission whose purpose is nuclear science to benefit society.

Open Nuclear was launched to open up UKNNL’s challenges to an external audience and to partner with innovative thinkers to deliver technological solutions. Open Nuclear is keen to work within a partnership model which brings in divergent thinking, shares expertise, and co-develops technologies for shared rewards.
